Last month, at IFA Berlin 2026, Anker announced a collection of new innovations for the home, device powering, and sound. Here, we will be diving into their latest mobile power solution in the form of the Anker MagGo 2 Pro power bank. Touted as the world’s first magnetic power bank with a built-in cooling fan, the Anker MagGo 2 Pro looks to produce fast charge rates without throttling due to temperature. Keeping in line with Anker’s recent on-the-go power solutions, this 10,000mAh power bank is also equipped with a smart display and the latest in Anker’s ActiveShield technology. It even includes a stand, expanding its versatility.
So, let’s take a deeper dive into the Anker MagGo 2 Pro power bank to see what $109.99 gets you.

Build, Features and Performance

The Anker MagGo 2 Pro is a 10,000mAh power bank offering both wired and magnetic wireless charging. It sports self-cooling functionality through its built-in fan and ventilation sections at the top and bottom of the unit. On the left, you have a USB-C port used for both recharging the MagGo 2 Pro’s battery as well as charging connected devices. On the right, you have the power bank’s smart display and multi-purpose button. Lastly, on the back you have the unit’s built-in kickstand.

Pressing the multi-purpose button lets you toggle through the MagGo 2 Pro’s various informative displays. You can check the MagGo 2 Pro’s power level, charging status, temperature, battery health, and cooling mode.

When the power bank is active, either charging a device, or recharging its own battery, the context of these screens change. If you are recharging the power bank, you can see the rate at which it is recharging in Watts. On the power level screen, you will now also see how long the battery estimates it will take to reach a full charge based on that recharge rate.

When the power bank is recharging other devices, the charging status screen will show you the rate at which it is charging those devices, segregated by wired and wireless indicators. Since the MagGo 2 Pro is capable of both recharging two devices as well as “pass-through” charging, this screen becomes especially informative. You even have a cooling wind animation whenever the power bank is in “Cooling” mode.

Double pressing the multi-purpose button toggles the MagGo 2 Pro between Silent and Cooling modes, where the cooling mode starts up the unit’s built-in fan and cooling processes. This SnapCool technology keeps the unit below 96.8°F. This technology actively detects the temperature and adjusts the fan speed accordingly. The fan and the unit’s dual air channels then dissipate heat evenly throughout the entirety of the device. This ensures that your devices get the fastest charge rates possible without throttling the wattage due to the power bank’s high temperature.

At surface level, the MagGo 2 Pro sports a solid compact build. While quite noticeable, it does not add too much girth to the devices it stuck to. This allows you to handle your phone without much additional effort when it is attached.

As a surface top accessory, the Anker MagGo 2 Pro continues to perform well thanks to its strong magnet and stand. The power bank’s magnet is able to hold onto my Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 securely through my phone’s magnetic case. This phone weighs 215g without a case, which is comparable to the Apple iPhone 18 Pro’s 211g. With much of the MagGo 2 Pro’s marketing showing it in use with the iPhone 18 Pro, this felt like a close to home assessment of the magnet’s strength. Whether I held onto the power bank or my phone, the two maintained a solid magnetic hold.

Then you have the kick stand, which is sturdy in its own right. The kick stand offers a decent range of leaning angles. However, most importantly, it is able to hold up both the MagGo 2 Pro and my connected Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 securely. It even does so with the foldable in its expanded form. Just like that, you have both a battery and a solid phone stand in one neat and portable package.
Interestingly enough, I thought that differentiating between modes as “Cooling” and “Silent” to be a little odd. In Cooling mode, I definitely felt the unit vibrating and air flowing in and out of the vents. However, it was still quite quiet, where “Cooling” mode never amounted to much of a distraction, noise-wise.
When it came to actual charging, the MagGo 2 Pro did not disappoint, as Anker power banks rarely do. The MagGo 2 Pro can detect your phone brand when you attach it to the wireless charging surface. This allows it to optimize charging for your specific device. Thanks to this I was able to experience the maximum 15W wireless charge rate when using it with my Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7. Here, I attached my phone for wireless charging when it was at a 10% charge, with the MagGo 2 Pro in Cooling mode.

Charging my phone with the MagGo 2 Pro to full charge took about 2 hours and 10 minutes. This is about the time you can expect from using a Samsung-branded wireless charger. That is because the phone itself will throttle charge rates when it reaches at least 80% to control its own heat. You can at least charge wirelessly up to the 50% mark under an hour, which is not bad at all. The notable point here is that the MagGo 2 Pro is able to match the phone’s maximum charge rates, which are usually lower when not using a Samsung OEM wireless charger.

As you would expect, wired charging is significantly faster at 25W, where the power bank in cooling mode was able to charge my phone fully in around 76 minutes. This left the MagGo 2 Pro with a respectable 52% of remaining battery. This is more than enough to charge the same device again if needed.
Final Thoughts

In the end, the Anker MagGo 2 Pro is a highly capable wireless power bank. It sports very fast charging rates, both wirelessly and wired, making it a perfect travel companion when in a power pinch. Its included stand, powerful magnet and passthrough charging allow it to double as a solid desktop accessory that you can simply take on the go if needed. Its informative display is a welcome addition, keeping you in the know of the power bank’s status, complete with timing estimates. Lastly, its device detection feature allows it to perform at least on par with your phone’s OEM charging solutions, making it one of the most versatile charging solutions in its size range.
If you are in the market for a small power bank, with both wired and wireless charging, that doubles as a stand, then definitely look into the Anker MagGo 2 Pro. You can check it out for yourself by clicking here.
