Nokia is back on one of the Nation’s largest carrier with the Lumia 822. Which is exclusive to Verizon Wireless. The Nokia Lumia 822 delivers high-end features in a compact package, including an 8MP camera with industry leading optics from Carl Zeiss, alongside a 1.2MP HD front-facing camera for crystal clear video calls. It also carries the same 1.5Ghz dual-core processor with 1GB of ram. In terms of Storage, you have also got 16GB of storage with a microSD slot for added memory. The Nokia Lumia 822 also features an exchangeable shell design, sold separately, which supports wireless charging.
The Nokia Lumia 822 also comes with Nokia Drive+, an industry leading, turn-by-turn voice navigation solution featuring offline access and pre-loaded US maps – replacing the need for a standalone personal navigation device. We got a nice demo of Nokia’ mapping technology earlier in the day with the Lumia 822. The Lumia 822 is also a 4G LTE device, which means you will get the same super fast 4G LTE speeds you are used to on the Verizon Network. On other key feature to which we will spend some time with is Data Sense, which is exclusive to the Lumia 822 this year. Allows for customers to manage their Data use on an app by app basis.
