The Skype app will work over WiFi or over a mobile data connection and is available to download for free. The app will run on any device running the latest version of Symbian (Symbian^1) – see below for a full list of compatible devices.
The app is a fully featured Skype client, giving users the ability to make free Skype-to-Skype calls, send and receive instant messages and share files such as pictures and video. Users will also be able to receive calls (to an existing Skype number) and see when other Skype users are online. Contacts are catered for too, with an easy import of phone numbers from the device’s address book directly into the app.
