Metro PCS LG Spirit 4G Review
The new LG Spirit 4G is the latest 4G LTE smartphone on the Metro PCS network. The devices comes with the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich platform, a 4.5 inch Gorilla Glass touchscreen, a 5 MP rear camera with “Cheese” shutter- which simply means that the camera has five gesture word functions that allow you to take photos ( Cheese, Kimichi, LG, Whiskey & smile)., Time Catch Shot, true-to-life 1080p HD recording and much more. The LG Spirit gives you the power to do more with ease. From the 4GLTE Mobile Hotspot capability to joyn by MetroPCS to Rhapsody unlimited music and GPS navigation, make the most of every moment. Running on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, the device’s 4.5-inch touchscreen boasts Corning Gorilla Glass technology. It’s powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor and a 2150 mAh battery, which will deliver talk time of four hours and a standby time of 200 hours.
The LG Spirit is a light device in its 4.5 inch slender frame. It does feel solid in the hands. What I do like about the LG Spirit is that you get a device on Metro PCS that doesn’t feel like a sub-par Android experience. But rather a rich Android experience on a price and scale that doesn’t break your wallet. And the camera takes care of the rest. Seriously.
The Camera on the other hand is hit or miss, in terms of camera quality is decent at best, but the camera does feature a lot of cool and similar camera functionality you will find in the LG Optimus G. Like the “Chesse Shutter “ where you literally say the word “cheese” and click,
it’s done. The LG Spirit is a solid smartphone on the Metro PCS network, and worth the purchase. The LG Spirit 4G is available for an off-contract price of $199 due to a $70 mail-in rebate. It can be purchased through MetroPCS stores and on the carrier’s online store. Consumers can combine it with new 4G plans starting at $40 per month.
