[ad#ad-1]I had never heard of IUI, so it was a pleasure being introduced to their products at CES. Audio quality with unique design are their focus and style. The Mirror Boombox (I am calling it M.B. for short) is a portable audio speaker and speakerphone, and definitely stood out to me. It is actually is made from an Official Licensed MINI Side Mirror. How adorable!!!!!! It’s design and size make this the perfect summer portable speaker. It is small enough to bring on a weekend getaway. It was very convenient when I had an event to go to. I just charged it up, threw it in my bag, ready to go!The top half of the mirror is a real mirror, but has the LED display showing volume and pairing controls. These reflect and flicker as you use the touch controls at the top rim of the M.B. The bottom half is your speaker, Mini Cooper backlit logo. Often when you have a small-ish speaker, you still sacrifice sound quality. The M.B. has Full Range acoustic drivers 4W X 2, passive bass radiator, built-in microphone, and Frequency Response: 80 Hz – 20 kHz. It even gives you a fun “VROOM VROOM” engine rev when it is powered on. To match the Union Jack flag, she says “Discovering” and “Your device is connected” with a British accent. Pairing itself was easy, no code required. At the back of the M.B. you will find the 3.5mm aux port for non-bluetooth listening, and the micro-usb charging port. Included in the box you will find usb cable, wall adapters, and cleaning cloth.
