[ad#ad-1]The Sprint ZTE Optik is a mid range Android Tablet geared at hitting the price conscious consumer. It features a 7 inch display, 1.2 GHz dual-core processor, 1 GB of RAM, 16 GB of storage, 5 megapixel rear facing camera, 2 megapixel front facing camera, Android 3.2 Honeycomb, and 3G EV-DO data connectivity. It’s priced at $100 with a 2 yr contract or $349 without.
So what do we like about the ZTE Optik? Firstly, for a budget tablet, it is rather responsive and efficient. It has a decent camera, great battery life, and a solid price point. It is tethered to the Sprint 3G network, which leaves less than desirable 3G speed and hinders the mobility of the tablet’s data connection. Otherwise, the ZTE Optik is a well made and balanced tablet at a very affordable price point.
