They unit also has a sync station which connects to your Xbox 360- via micro USB to USb and allows for wireless audio syncing. So how good doe sit sound and can we get the same rang e we got from the hands-on at CES 2012

Conclusion

The Tritton Xbox 360 Primer Headset show the value of great partnership, with a well crafted head set. That meets all expectations. On it is comfortable., though the ear cups look small. It actually fits very well, it is wireless and easy to set up, no rocket science degree needed.  Plus the wireless range on this thing is great, I maxed out at about 40- 45 feet. Which means for most people you can sit anywhere in your house and play or at least listen to audio on your Xbox 360. Over I love it and only wish the headset was recharge and didn’t use double A batteries. Definitely a worthy buy!!

Almost every control layout is customizable except for the button, XYBA, LR, LB, RB, RR. The faceplate and palm rest are changeable, allowing you to give your controller a customized look. Its got a 6 feet cord that is detachable at the point of the controller for easy packaging in the carrying pouch that comes with the controller, it is also detachable close to the USB console connector in case some on trips over your wires, you controller doesn’t’ go flying.  But the unique aspect of the controller is the customization of the analog sticks and d-pad. yes you can pop them out and place them an where on your controller. Going for an Xbox 360 style setup to a PS3 style setup on you Xbox 360  MLG controller. Or you could come up with you very own custom setup

Conclusion

I have been impressed by the MadCatz MLG Controller for the Xbox 360, we got our first glimpse at CES 2012 and I can say after spending some quality time with this controller, this is the definitely controller to have at home on the road as a gamer.  Everything from the weight of the controller is adjustable to the style of controller you like and you control layout, giving you the best possible advantage in gaming you could ask for. Which is what every gamer wants and is looking for when playing their favorite game. The the controller have faults or issue, nothing serious to note, though I wished the lock and unlock mechanism for the d-pad/analog stick was a little looser. But I can live with that.  In all at the price Point of 4999 and the value will will get the controller,, “yes its price 440 more than a normal controller” but it isn’t a normal controller. I say the MLG PRO Circuit Xbox 360 controller is worth every penny and a solid, solid buy.

The Steel Series Siberia V2 headset for the PS3 are one of the most comfortable headsets I have ever worn. It is light weight, comfortable and easy on the ears. The earcups feature a noise reducing foam, which helps you to focus on the important audio or voice communication, and not being disturbed or interrupted by outside noise; and they do work very well. The unit comes with a Live mixer which helps combine you game audio and voice chat into one channel.

The LiveMix levels range from OFF, which is unaltered in-game and voice sound to LOW (game sound is reduced by 5db when your teammates are talking), MEDIUM (game sound is reduced by 15db), to HIGH (game sound is reduced by 25db). By providing optional levels of LiveMix, users will have the ability to control how much of the game sound they want to hear balanced over the voice communication. LiveMix control is a great way to adjust in-game volume to communicate with other gamers. I hope SteelSeries makes this a Standard for all their gaming headsets.

The headset is also compatible with the Xbox 360 for in-game audio and Xbox LIVE communication. Users can simply connect to the Xbox controller through a double-sided 2.5mm connector which is provided in the packaging. This is pretty much a pone stop shop for your gaming headset  needs

First of  built in Bing search that lets you search for Movies, music and games. The you got your home that shows what’s in your disk tray, your quick play games. A live title of what is new in the Video Marketplace. the Xbox 360 Cloud save and ads. Next you have the Social segment; which show the friends you have online you can also connect to your social apps, Twitter, Facebook and Kinect Video.

Next is your video segment that shows your video apps and connections to the Zune Video marketplace, where you can rent movies and buy then as well as stream your own content. Next is the games hub, where you can check on your achievement, the games you have played as well as downloadable content.  After games is the music, hub, similar to the video hub, you can access the Zune marketplace, play music off music apps, as well as stream music through media center from your pc to your Xbox 360.

This video is a Co-op speed through of the first act in Gears of War 3 on Hardcore. The video is about 30mins  but actually footage is 3hrs of game time excluding pauses and breaks. We will continue to upload the different acts of the game until it concluded. Hope you all enjoy it as much as I did.


I just picked up my copy of Gears of War 3 & a Limited edition controller for the Game, from my local Gamestop. there where about 30 people in line for the game. took 10 mins to pick it up and boom, back home. The Limited edition controller is pretty much the new Xbox 360 controller, with a fresh coat of red and black paint with the Gears logo on it. So no need to get it unless you need another controller, which luckily I do or really love Gears of War and I mean really.

As for the game, I got the regular edition not the super dupper epic edition that retails for $149.99 and what did I get rewarded for my cheapness. A few sticks. So that’s pretty much it for the Gears of War 3 unboxing. If you pre-ordered the game, ps. Don’t toss your receipt you have some downloadable content with the game and the controller too.

Razer has been pushing heavily into the console gaming arena, first with the Onza controller for the Xbox 360 and now, they are looking to make an Arcade fighting stick. Yes you heard it right, Razer is looking to make the ultimate Arcade fighting stick for your street fighter IV gaming pleasure and are looking for gaming to help test it out and work out all the bugs in it.

Tokyo Game Show, Japan – September 15^th, 2011 – Razer™, the world leader in high performance gaming hardware, just announced a program to co-develop the ultimate arcade stick for the Xbox 360® together with the arcade stick community.  The arcade stick, developed with pro-gamer feedback, is currently at the prototype stage.  For the finishing touches, up to 200+ specially selected top-seed Street Fighter™ IV pro-gamers, influential modders, and members of the arcade enthusiast community will each be given a Razer arcade stick to test and provide feedback to further improve it to perfection, whereupon the final design will then proceed to production.

Its being about 5months since I got my Razer Onza tournament edition controller. Its been a great little piece of hardware for gaming. about a month ago I fell victim to the same issue I had read from a few subscribers about controller malfunctions. Yep my analogy stick got stuck in a forward position, so gaming was pretty much a waste.

Called Razer started their return procedure and got me a new controller. Though the do have an interesting RMA process which you can see more details in the video. Now th Razer Onza is a great controller., but these hardware problems say a lot about quality. Hopefully that was an issue with launch unit and not indicative of the whole line.

At E3 2011, Microsoft announced Kinect Fun Labs, which is available for all Kinect owners and can be downloaded via your Kinect dashboard on your Xbox 360.  So what is Kinect fun Labs and why should you download it?

Well what Kinect fun labs is Microsoft’s way of showing off the latest advances in the technology of Kinect with a series of gadgets (mini games) that show case different things you can do with Kinect.
