The Steel Series Siberia V2 <a href="http://booredatwork.com/tag/headset/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with headset">headset</a> for the <a href="http://booredatwork.com/tag/ps3/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with PS3">PS3</a> are one of the most comfortable headsets I have ever worn. It is light weight, comfortable and easy on the ears. The earcups feature a noise reducing foam, which helps you to focus on the important <a href="http://booredatwork.com/tag/audio/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with audio">audio</a> or voice communication, and not being disturbed or interrupted by outside noise; and they do work very well. The unit comes with a Live mixer which helps combine you game <a href="http://booredatwork.com/tag/audio/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with audio">audio</a> and voice chat into one channel.</p>
<p>The LiveMix levels range from OFF, which is unaltered in-game and voice sound to LOW (game sound is reduced by 5db when your teammates are talking), MEDIUM (game sound is reduced by 15db), to HIGH (game sound is reduced by 25db). By providing optional levels of LiveMix, users will have the ability to control how much of the game sound they want to hear balanced over the voice communication. LiveMix control is a great way to adjust in-game volume to communicate with other gamers. I hope SteelSeries makes this a Standard for all their <a href="http://booredatwork.com/tag/gaming/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with gaming">gaming</a> headsets.</p>
<p>The headset is also compatible with the <a href="http://booredatwork.com/tag/xbox-360/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with xbox 360">Xbox 360</a> for in-game audio and <a href="http://booredatwork.com/tag/xbox-live/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with xbox live">Xbox LIVE</a> communication. Users can simply connect to the Xbox controller through a double-sided 2.5mm connector which is provided in the packaging. This is pretty much a pone stop shop for your gaming headset  needs</p>

First of these baby feels good in the hands at first touch, its got solid handle grips for the controller as well as a well pronounced d-pad. The control is light and the button feel comfortable. The Analog sticks are separated diagonally like a traditional Xbox controller. At least for me this is a good thing. Lets not get carried away, we haven’t spent enough time with the controller but it show does look good. This limited edition MW3 controller on the PS3 will retail for $42.99 @  <a href="PDP.com" target="_blank">PDP.com</a> and will be available Nov 8. Till then enjoy our Hands-on video</p>

<p>So <a href="http://booredatwork.com/tag/sony/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with Sony">Sony</a> has finally entered the motion wars with <a href="http://booredatwork.com/tag/nintendo/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with Nintendo">Nintendo</a>. ( I am sure under $100 means $99.99 MSRP). Seriously , is it called <a href="http://booredatwork.com/tag/playstation-move/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with playstation move">PlayStation Move</a>.</p>
<p><a href="http://booredatwork.com/tag/gdc-2010/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with gdc 2010">GDC 2010</a></p>
<blockquote><p>ony just officially announced the <a href="http://booredatwork.com/tag/playstation/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with playstation">PlayStation</a> Move <a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/playstationmotioncontroller">motion controller</a> at GDC 2010, calling it the &#8220;next generation of motion <a href="http://booredatwork.com/tag/gaming/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with gaming">gaming</a>&#8221; because it&#8217;s so precise &#8212; latency is about the same as the DualShock 3. As expected, it uses the PlayStation Eye camera to track the controller, and Sony says it becomes an &#8220;extension of your body.&#8221; The plan is not only to engage casual gamers, but to use the precision of the controller to create &#8220;new experiences for core gamers&#8221; &#8212; many of the demo videos we saw involved using a controller video in each hand, and there were quote a few demos of action / RPG games. We also saw a demo of Move Party, which uses the camera to do augmented reality <a href="http://booredatwork.com/tag/gaming/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with gaming">gaming</a> and video chat. The demos are pretty impressive &#8212; Sony&#8217;s not kidding when it says the Move is incredibly precise.</p>
<p>Via<a href="http://www.engadget.com/2010/03/10/playstation-move-motion-controller-launched-at-gdc/" target="_blank"> Engadget</a></p></blockquote>
<p>So the fight is on to topple Nintendo and the Wii with motion controlled games. I wish Sony Well, But entering a year were the Wii will hit $150 probably by Christmas and a PS3 with motion controls will still $399. Its going to be tough, let see how <a href="http://booredatwork.com/tag/microsoft/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with microsoft">Microsoft</a> will make its mark with <a href="http://booredatwork.com/tag/natal/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with Natal">Natal</a> and if Nintendo will make improvements with motion plus</p>
