Here is the first look at the Lizard from the upcoming Amazing Spiderman movies. For those of you who are unfamiliar with The Lizard and his alter ego Dr Connors (portrayed by Rhys Ifans in the new film), read this from Marvel’s site:

“Curt Connors was a gifted surgeon who went into a war to help his country. He performed ‘meatball’ surgery on wounded GIs, but his arm was injured in a blast and had to be amputated. He eventually became obsessed with uncovering the secrets of reptilian regeneration, and studied reptilian biology extensively. From his home in the Everglades, he finally determined a serum taken from the DNA of a reptile. He had successfully regrown the missing limb of a rabbit, and, despite the warnings of his wife, chose to test it on himself. Connors ingested it, and his arm did indeed grow back. Unfortunately, it had one side effect: Connors was subsequently transformed into a reptilian monster!”

“The Amazing Spider-Man” opens July 12, 2012 in 3D (shock!) and 2D. It stars Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker/Spiderman, Emma Stone as Gwen Stacey and Ifans as Dr Connors/The Lizard.

Wooooohooo, it’s here. The Avengers Trailer, need I say more. Today Marvel Studios revealed the first full trailer for writer/director Joss Whedon’s The Avengers, starring Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Tom Hiddleston, Stellan Skarsgård and Samuel L. Jackson.

Here guys is the first trailer for Ghost Rider: Sprint of Vengeance, the sequel to 2007’s Ghost Rider

The film is directed by Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor and stars Nicolas Cage, Ciaran Hinds, Violante Placido, Idris Elba, and Johnny Whitworth.

“Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance” is set to hit 3D and 2D theaters on February 17, 2012.

It seems Wesley Snipe will be getting some work even though in prison. Ok not true. But here is the trailer for the Blade Anime, which showcase an animated Blade character in Wesley Snipes likeness.  The production is done in conjunction with Marvel & Madhouse studios. hopefully this turns out more  entertaining than the Ironman and Wolverine animes, released last year

Blade will air starting July 1 on Japan’s Animax channel. It’ll come stateside to G4 later this year

So yesterday Snatch Hatch started asking me about Iron Man 2 and we decided to share my rambling thoughts with everyone as my Iron Man 2 review or sort of review. Enjoy

According to a source close to UGO, Tommy Lee Jones might be a very busy man this summer. Along with the previously announced Men in Black 3, Jones is in negotiations to appear in Marvel’s The First Avenger: Captain America. And they say aging actors don’t have a place in Hollywood anymore. Ha!

So who would he playing? That we’re not sure about, but Jones has the gruff, stone cold look of a military man, which makes perfect sense in Captain America’s WWII-era storyline. I’m sure there’s a certain secret super soldier program that’s looking for a leader…

Marvel is on a nice little role here. very nice
