LG announced its cinema wide HDTV which means this TV  is as wide as your local movie theater. It also as a ridiculous 1mm bezel,; almost none existent. It also is a smart tv and is  3D TV, and . LG announced it will offer Dual Play, where it uses polarized glasses to let two different players see only their perspective on the full screen at once in games that support it. You know CES is around the corner when you get press releases left right and center. LG just announced their laptop line with two ultrabooks the Z330 & Z430. Two traditional laptops P335 & A540 and the 23-inch AIo V300.The LG Z330 a Core i7 processor, a 13.3-inch HD display, an SSD and an enclosure that weighs but 2.66 pounds. The 14-inch Z430 is outfitted similarly, sitting in a 19.9mm chassis and boasting a metallic cover with a “gyro-brush line finish. The 15.6-inch P535 gets a Core i7, GeForce GT 630M and a wide-angle display, while the A540 grabs a GeForce GT 555M and a glasses-free 3D display. Closing up the loop, the revised V300 gains a 1080p Film Patterned Retarder (FPR) 3D panel.

Seems like LG is not prepered to hold its card to their chest and wait till CES 2012. They would rather give us daily doses of their 2012 Line-up before  2011 ends. The Company just announced an 84-inch “Ultra Defintion”  ( 3840×1260),; that is way past 1080p HD. It will be show casing the TV at CES 2012 in Vegas along slide the 55-inch OLED TV. 3D camera Quality

At the Samsung galaxy S II US launch event we took a recordings off all the devices coming to T-Mobile, Sprint & AT&T in 3D using the new LG Thrill 4G smartphone on the AT&T network.  The video helps showcase the 3D recording capabilities of the L:G Thrill 4G. How well it handles recording 3D at 720p and also the look of 3D still. Has a regular 2D camera, thee Thrill 4G does a fantastic job of taking stills and recording video.

Conclusion

So the big question is does 3D work well on the LG Thrill 4G. Yes it does and works well. It is easy to view 3D content on the 4.3″ screen. The LG Thrill 4G is pretty much the best 3D Smartphone on the market. it use of the T.I OMAP4 processor allow for very smooth operation and hitch free  OS use. There isnt anything wrong with device, if I where to mention on down side. It would be fact it runs Android 2.2 and not the latest version of the  OS.

But the LG Thrill 4G is a competitively priced smartphone, that allows its user to create viewer and share 3D content and does it effectively, without breaking your wallet.

This a cool piece of tech for portable 3D display that Sony showed of at the show. The HMZ-T1 as it is called will be available in Japan on Nov 11th for 60,000 yen or $783. Its pretty cool this as moved from concept to reality. its got Two 1280×720 0.7-inch OLED panels mounted in front of each eye giving the wearer an experience similar to viewing a 750-inch screen from 20m away. Comes with HDMI- Out and 5.1 Surround Sound. Once wearing the head mount, the images are sharp and clear and the sound felt like it wrapped around you.

Displaying 3D images using a single screen generally requires either the Frame Sequential (FS) method, in which the screens for left and right are switched rapidly, or the Line by Line (LBL) method, in which the video for left and right is displayed alternately on the scan line. The FS method tends to generate crosstalk phenomenon, which occurs when the left and right video frames do not switch completely, resulting in mixed images. Under the LBL method, the number of pixels is halved.

‘HMZ-T1′ adopts the ‘Dual Panel 3D method,’ which utilizes separate panels for the left and right eyes, each with its own dedicated 3D video. Therefore, it does not generate crosstalk. Furthermore, as the HD quality video is displayed separately on each of the panels, viewers can now enjoy high resolution 3D video that is natural, bright and extremely pure, to an extent that had not been possible until now.

From Sony’s optical lens technology developed through the projector, the adopted optical lens realize the wide 45-degree horizontal viewing angle, which enables the viewer to enjoy a movie theater-like atmosphere with wide vision experience of 750-inch virtual screen (virtual viewing distance 20m)*2. In addition, it realizes low aberration and distortion which reproduce the primary movie theater picture quality. The viewer can easily read small subtitles whilst experiencing the intensity of 3D as the video images expand before their eyes.

The design of this device is such that it covers the maximum possible field of vision (approx. 200 degrees), surpassing the video viewing range of 45 degrees. Any information unrelated to viewing is isolated, resulting in a feeling of deep immersion. The supplied light shield (shade plate) can intercept the light from below, which further enhances the feeling of immersion for the viewer.

The processor unit is equipped with one socket for HDMI output and another for through output. The built-in HDMI output switcher enables both the Head Mounted Display and a television to be connected to the processor unit at any given time, thereby allowing the user to switch between devices for their desired output destination.

If you bought a Nintendo 3DS at launch, we might be pissed to find out that only after 5 months from release the Nintendo 3DS is getting a price drop to $169 on Aug 12th. As compensation for early adoption. Nintendo is giving early 3DS owns 20 free games. 10 NES games off the virtual console and 10 Game boy advance games that will not be released by the end of this year. I guess those 20 games amount to an extra $80 purchase. But it seems Nintendo finally realized their pricing for the 3DS was off from the start.

LG officially announced the Thrill 4G coming to AT&T wireless this summer, powered by a Dual core, dual channel 1Ghz Texas Instrument OMAP4 processor, its got a 4.3” 3D display. A 1.3Mp front facing camera, dual 5MP stereoscopic rear camera that can record 720p 3D video and 1080p 2D videos. It also has 8GB of internal storage bundled with another 8Gb micro SD card.  Its got a 2D to 3D switch for the camera , but you can take a 3D picture and still view it in 2D as well as upload it in 2D or 3D

So does 3D work on the device? Y it does work and you can see the 3D images clearly, granted this was a hands-on and maybe not the final unit. Its running the latest Optimus UI of Android 2.2, also has a 3D centric interface to get you going with 3D content from YouTube 3D, 3D games from Gameloft and 3D Movie trailers   So we will reserve judgment for the full review. till then enjoy our hands-on video .

LG has really come into its own in the home entertainment market with a solid array of home products like the LG smart TV upgrader and the LG BD890 3D Blu-ray player. The LG PZ550 3D plasma does not stray away from this either. At 50” in size, its got 4 HDMI ports, 2 Component port, coaxial, RF, Pc connector and two USB port. The LG PZ 550 is a 3D capable TV, that can upscale regular 2D content into 3D for your viewing pleasure. Also features DLNA capability and is an internet capable TV.it does use Active shutter Glasses which have to be recharged and comes with a pair in the box.

In this review, we are going to look at the functionality, how well the 3D works as well as  the other options on the device

Conclusion

The LG PZ550 is a great 3D HDTV, yes it does have some issues, with the slow remote response times, and the use of Active Glasses for 3D. But they are also of benefits to the LG PZ550, with its reach 3D looks (watched Avatar on there and I though I was in the Theaters). Awesome DLNA features, the ability to up scale 2D content as well as online capabilities. In all the PZ550 3D HDTV is a very good 3D TV with Awesome DLNA and online features.

After about a good week of some hands-on time with the Nintendo 3DS, we have our full review for you. I do apologize for the lengthen of the video review. But we are trying to give you as much information about the system as possible.  So I will try to make the written segment of the review as short as I can. So the questions beacon, does 3D work and should I buy a 3DS?

Hardware.

We have already spoken at lengthen on this, in our unboxing and First Impressions of the 3DS. But I will give you a short overview of the hardware. Nintendo has stuck with its tried and true formula of the DS hardware. so the general look is the same with a few new key addition.  First off is the analog disc, which has better 3D character control in games, and the 3D camera, that seem gimmicky at first but provides, good solid pictures and added gameplay mechanics with the AR game cards. Overall the hardware is solid and feel good in the hands.

Video Review

3D & Graphics

It works. Yes it does work and works well. You have to adjust the slider to what fits you but it does work well. Also graphically the system packs a punch. The games look crisp and clear and looks great even without the 3D effect on.

Online Gameplay

This is were I have my first major grip with the system. Nintendo is still using friend codes, and granted they have simplified things. You still need to have your friend’s friend code before you can add them to you system. On the plus side, Nintendo has gotten rid of the friend codes for individual games and getting online to play  game is much faster and easier now. Though you still can’t add an online play to your friends list

Conclusion

I really like the 3DS, for one I was not convinced 3D would work on the system without the glasses and if it would look good graphically. But Nintendo pretty much nailed it in everyway. What they have created is a system based on a handheld product we Love, the DS. improved it graphically (tremendously at that), added a key feature that doesn’t come off as a gimmick (3D) and installed other elements right out of the box that make you realize the have packed quite a bit to improve and increase your gaming experience (AR cards, face raiders.

The system isn’t without fault, Nintendo still is lagging behind in online gameplay, though the setup process has improved with a singular friend code system, its still lack numerous online functionalities. Also the battery life for the system is not that good either and only pack 4.5 hrs. it deters away from the industry standards Nintendo had set with the Original DS and DS lite. Something I am sure they will address once we get a Nintendo 3DS lite

Overall those hiccups do not deter away from the total package the DS provides,  3D works on the system, Nintendo has packed in extras with AR games and face raiders for more out of the box and it is still a very very solid handheld gaming system. I say the 3DS is a definite buy

CEO Dan Hesse was on hand to announce Sprints new line of Android based devices at CTIA wireless 2011. The HTC EVO 3D, which is the first EVO with  a 4′ 3D display that dose not require glasses.

The HTC EVO View 4G, which is a 7 ‘ Android based tablet that also has a capacitive touch pen input

Dan Hesse in his true self was straight to the point and very clear at what  Sprint is trying to offer to its customers.
