Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 is the little brother to the Galaxy Tab 10.1 released earlier in the summer by Samsung. That doesn’t mean it is a slouch in an comparisons. The Galaxy Tab 8.9 is only 8.6mm and the lightest tablet on the market( I mean it is super light) The Galaxy Tab 8.9 is powered by a Tegra 2 dual core processor, with 1GB of ram, a 2MP front facing camera and a rear 3.2MP camera. What’s the difference?

As stated earlier, this is super light tablet, it feel like a book in your hands, and I mean a light book. The other thing about the Tab 8.9 is how well it fits in your hands, it easy to hold it in landscape and type with both hands. Unlike like 10” tablets, the Galaxy Tab 8.9 is comfortable, easy to handle and gives you enough viewing room for movies. It also runs TouchWiz 4.0 with the live widgets, mini taskbar, media hub, music hub and more. These all add to what makes the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 a different type of tablet.

I personally like the portability of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9, for me it’s the right size for a tablet. It is easy to handle with two hands, typing doesn’t feel convoluted. Its runs well with TouchWiz 4.0. Got all the Samsung Hubs and it is as light as a feather.  The only down sized to it I would say it the pricing; for the 16GB and 32GB Wi-Fi version priced at $469 $ $569  respectively. Still it’s a great tablet and Samsung has proved that Tablets are not a one size fit all category and the is something for everyone and as it is for me. the Galaxy Tab 8.9 could be that size for you
