Porsche 911 Turbo S Test Drive: Awesome!!!

The Porsche Turbo S 911 has to be the fastest car I have ever driven, that been said it’s also one sexy beast. I never really was a Porsche fan, as their design language has remained the same over decades. But something about the 911 Turbo S Stands out, That Screams Slick and fast. The 911 Turbo S models have 560 hp 3.8-litre 6-cylinder boxer engine  available between 6500 and 6750 rpm. The maximum torque is 516 lb.-ft., with no restriction. And it can increase to 553 lb.-ft. If you are not a petrol head this simply means the car can go really, really fast. 0-60 Mph in 2.9 secs & tack speed of 197 mph. Wowzaeer!! Yeah that fast.  You would expect that for a vehicle priced at $182,700 MSRP. What  I drove is marked at $213,000

Jumping into the Porsche 911 Turbo S is every drivers dream, with plush leather interior, carbon fiber steering wheels and a two LCD in-car system, with a 7-inch display at the center console and a small LCD on the right side of the dashboard you can toggle through a scroll-wheel on the steering wheel to look at you navigation, Tire pressure, Torque and Performance; which actually is very useful and functional. YOu also have the other expected amenities like Bluetooth connectivity, Backup camera, Keyless entry,BOSE Surround Sound System gives outstanding performance with a total output of 445 watts. Porsche doesn’t skimp out of internal luxuries for this vehicle.

Performance…, yes performance. Did I mention that this car is a beast, It drives smooth and hard with excellent handling on tight turns and quick switches. plus the 3.0 litre 6-cylinder engine packs more than just a punch. It kicks ass!! What makes driving the Porsche 911 Tourbo S fun at the two sports modes or Sports and Sports plus. The SPORT button enables you to select a suspension setup where the emphasis is on either comfort or sporty performance. At the push of a button, the electronic engine management system switches the engine mapping to offer an even sharper response. In conjunction with the Sport Chrono Package

In SPORT PLUS mode, the trigger threshold for PSM is raised. Agility is perceptibly enhanced when braking for corners with PSM, allowing sportier braking and exit acceleration. For maximum dexterity, PSM can be set to standby while the car is still in SPORT PLUS mode. Although it’s still there in the background. The Sport Chrono Package has two additional functions. To some up my experience driving the Porsche 911 Turbo S was simple Awesome!!!! I never felt more in tuned with a vehicle, from handle, speed and sheer performance. This is total dream car package that I hope everyone gets to experience once as I did.
