I was thoroughly impressed with the Plantronics GameCom 780 with my Hands-on at CES 2012 and after having spent about  close to two weeks with the headset; Again all I am going to say is WOW!!!!. Plantronics truly know how to but sound and audio to their headset, starting with design , these headphone sare crafted to be light and comfortable, unlike its GameCom 777 predecessors, the Game 780 headphones feel light and comfortable, and allow for ease use. Plus the  spin-joints let the earpods lay flat for easy storage as well as easy placement around the neck. The mic is retractable mic doesn’t tuck into the head-piece but swivel up to the side of the ear piece itself, you also have you Dolby control but as well as mic mute and volume button on  one of the head pieces.

Now lets talk about sound, the Gamecom series from Plantronics is well-known for its audio quality, and the GameCom 780 is no exception. The sound quality for the headphones are outstanding,; clear crisp and clear, giving you the ability to hear teammates properly, you can clear differentiate between in-game sounds. For gunshots, to footsteps and more. It truly enhances the gaming experience. Plus the built-in noise cancelling feature ensures you don’t get any outside interference during your gaming session.

 The Plantronics GameCom 780 is a fantastic piece of gaming hardware, the built quality is excellent, and Plantronics always delivers in the sound department. But I think this time the really set the bar high. the really isn’t anything for me to complain about, other than material Plantronics uses for its cushions is a super dust attractor. But serious  this is truly a superb piece of hardware and I full recommend them to anyone looking to get a solid gaming headset. and even if you don’t game, its great for video chat too

The Razer Blade which was born off the the Razer SwitchBlade Concept is a 17′ gaming laptop powered by  a 2.8GHz Core i7-2640M CPU and GeForce GT 555M graphics replete with 2GB of GDDR5 video memory. Project Fiona is Razer first entry into the Tablet Gaming world, The gaming accessory maker as introduced another Gaming PC concept that it hopes will revolutionize  the PC marketing in Portable gaming via the Tablet. Project Fiona, is a full fledged tablet with PC gaming controls that you can take with you on the go, just like with the Razer Switchblade concept, Project Fiona is not a final mass market model and well definitely see changes before release. Project Fiona is powered by a Core i7 processor and Windows 8, designed to play “most popular PC games of today,” and THX audio, but details are light beyond that. The press release still lists this as a proof of concept design, and with a year to release, these things are of course subject to change. Razer does plan on releasing it, however, and it’s targeting a Q4 2012 release priced under $1,000.

The SteelSeries Ion Portable gaming controller has a classic look and feel. To allow compatibility with the latest games out they. This is a small slick device that allows for easy portability in your pocket, the Controller features Dual analog sticks, a traditional Dpad, trigger buttons and four face button to emulate standard gaming controls. The Controller is a the size of a deck of cards at 108mm x 55.5mm x 18mm. It connects to your device via bluetooth and has 20hrs of gameplay time from a single charge. The controller can be used on your PC, laptop, or Tablet. I think this will be a great addition to the mobile gaming world. No need to use touchscreen controllers which don’t work in my opinion. As for comfort and feel, though a smaller controller SteelSeries has crafted a device that is comfortable and easy to use. We got some hands-on time with the Plantronics GameCom 780 7.1 surround sound headset. All I have to say is WOW!!! this thing really pops. Plantronics, Have done an excellent job in creating a virtual gaming surround system. Audio literally jumps out of screen on to you with out.  the headset is also very flexible and allows gamers superior comfort. So far this thing looks sick. Looks like the Plantronics GameCom 7.1 Surround Sound was accidentally leaked via a slide show. The over-the-ear headset features virtual 7.1 surround sound with Dolby Headphone and Pro Logic IIx technology. Head headset  features a 40mm driver and swivels and lays flat for transport. If you are a gamer, then pay attention., even if you aren’t I can tell you this is a piece of PC peripheral that you will want to check out. Your DPI can  be set to for custom modes and changed on the fly with a toggle switch on the mouse and is indicated with 4 LED bars on the left hand side of the mouse.  All the customization is done through a very simple ad easy to use software. That allows you to, set and load custom profiles, change DPI, program buttons, assign commands and set Precision aim; which is activated by a red button on the left hands side of the mouse.

There is a lot to the Cyborg R.A.T.7 Albino gaining mouse, that makes it very very appealing, not only is it customizable, which means I personally cam create my perfect mouse that fits my hand. It is also light weight, smooth and precise with the incredible DPI, the weights help balance the mouse and I can tell you gaming with it is, a dream. Slimily put, this is the best gaming mouse I have used, and I am really not trying to over state it.
