The Pantech Burst is the latest addition to AT&T’s 4G LTE smartphone arsenal on the budget range. This  smartphone is equipped with a 4-inch Super AMOLED screen with an 800 x 480-pixel resolution, a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, a 5-megapixel camera capable of recording 720p HD video, a 2-megapixel front-facing camera for video chats and 16GB of storage.  The Pantech Burst doesn’t have any physical with four touch sensitive buttons for menu, home, back and search. The device is very snappy wit its dual-core processor, and comes with a custom skin UI over Android 2.3.5. So far I like what I see and from an initial 4G LTE speed test I got 29Mbps on Downloads and 10Mbps on uploads.

The phone is now available for just $49.99 with a new two-year AT&T contract; plus AT&T has a sweet bundle deal that’s available for the Pantech Burst & Pantech Element tablet . The Asus Transformer Prime is the Latest Android tablet and we were blessed with an Android 4.0 update during the Unboxing. The Transformer Prime is a 8.3mm thick table and weighs only 566g that house the Tergra 3 ka-el chip, a Quad-core processor, great for gaming on the go and will provide smooth operations to the system. It uses a Super IPS display with a 178 degree viewing angle with Gorilla glass .

The Verizon BlackBerry Curve 9370 was announced last week at CEs 2012 and is available in stores today. The Curve 9370 is the latest in the curve family Line on the Verizon Network. it sports a 2.44-inch display that isn’t touch screen, a 5- megapixel camera, and is a Global ready smartphone on the Verizon network, with a Vodaphone 3G sim-card. The Curve 9370 has a 2Gb microSD that is expandable up to 32Gb . It also supports NFC and has Bluetooth 2.1 and Wi-Fi B/G/N & GPS.  The Unit itself is very light and I feel is one of the lightest Blackberries to date.  We will spend time playing around with the BlackBerry Curve 9370 and give you our full review. The Nokia Lumia 710 is the first Windows Phone by Nokia on the T-Mobile network. This device is geared at the first time smartphone users and is priced competitively and accordingly. The Lumia 710 sports a Clear black 3.7-inch display, powered by  a 1.4Ghz Qualcomm MSM8255 Snapdragon processor, with 8GB of storage a 5 megapixel camera that records at 720p and a front facing VGA camera for video chat. The Lumia 710 also comes packed with ESPN app, Nokia Drive(navigation), Netflix and a few other applications. Also the Lumia 710 uses a micro-sim

The Motorola Droid XYBOARD 8.2 is the sequel to the ill launched Motorola Xoom, and the first Motorola Tablet to take the Droid name. This tablet packs the regular features you will find in an standard Android 3.2 tablet. it sports a 1.2Ghz dual-core processor, 1.3 megapixel front facing camera, a 5 megapixel rear camera with LED flash 7 a mini HDMI-out. It also sports a high definition IPS display. the XYBAORD 8.2 is a 4G LTE device and is capable of creating a hot sport for up to 8 devices.

The Droid XYBOARD is a very slim device, taking design cues from the Droid Razr, it is sleek and slim, with corner edges matching the Razr . there are no buttons on the front of the device, with the the power and Vol. toggle are at the back of the XYBOARD 8.2. The XYBOARD  8.2 is splash resistant, to protect from water damage, its has also got a soft rubberized coating around the edge of the device. Nokia N9 is Nokia’s first and last MeeGo capable device. It is from here a lot of the design features found in the Lumia 800 are derived. This is what I call a well crafted device. First off it, its Sports a 3.6-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 480 x 854 pixels, Gorilla Glass and anti-glare polarizer. an 8 megapixel camera that records at 720p and a front facing camera for video chat. . 16GB/64GB of internal storage no MicroSD bay. It runs MeeGo OS, v1.2 Harmattan with a 1Ghz TI OMAP 3630 Cortex A8 processor and 1GB of ram for some serious smoothness; with Bluetooth V2.1, Wi-Fi N and NFC support. It also does TV out through the 3.5mm headphone jack.

Hardware wise, the Nokia N(9is a well crafted piece of work, with the lack of physical button on the front of the device that  doesn’t take away from the beauty and practicality, to its smooth curves on its 3.9-inch AMOLED display and the back of the device. The Nokia N9 feels solid and well placed when holding in your hand. MeeGo is also an interesting breathe of fresh air, though we only used it for a few minutes with the unboxing. I can tell you it runs smooth and easy to navigate, with accessing apps and the idea of using three home screens, with on for all your apps, one for multitask and one for notifications, is very appealing and works. We are going to spend some time with the Nokia N9, play with camera, and put the device and OS through its paces. Till then enjoy our unboxing and first impressions below.

The Samsung Galaxy S2 Skyrocket was the 4G LTE Galaxy S2 device in the US, on the AT&T. Powered by a 1.5 GHz dual core processor, it sports a 4.5-inch SuperAMOLED Plus display, 8-megapixel rear-facing camera with LED flash, with 2-megapixel front-facing camera and 16GB internal Storage. It also house an 1850maH battery, which does add much wait to the device liek other 4G LTE smartphone.

Design wise it is similar to the Galaxy S2  Epic 4G touch on Sprint in size and general aesthetic. Though I will say the Skyrocket as a very surreal smoothness to it. From the back surface to the screen it self. Just Plain Smooth. We shall see how it handles in our full review.

Looks like The Col. has got his hands on the Verizon Galaxy Nexus and was gracious enough to share his unboxing time with us. The Galaxy Nexus on Verizon is the first Android 4.0 device to hit the market. So how does it look and feel? The Hardware design and styling is very similar to the Samsung Galaxy S2 and the Nexus S with its contoured screen. Which features a 4.65-inch 720p HD Super AMOLED display that sports un screen buttons for your home back and multitask buttons. Yes no physical button on the device other than your power and volume rockers.  It is power by a 1.2Ghz dual-core processor with 1GB ram for smooth operations; which you will notice once you start playing around with the OS.  Its sports a 5 megapixel camera with LED flash in the rear and a 1.3 megapixel camera for video chatting in front. NFC capable and houses a Verizon wireless 4G LTE chip.

Weigh wise it feels slightly heavier than the Galaxy S2, but not by much, but still maintains a very slim profile for a device. Android 4.0 gladly isn’t a departure  for the Android basics, but it will leave some user wondering where to find stuff. For instance your settings can be found on your notification bar. The Nokia Lumia 800 is Nokia Flagship and first entry device into the Windows Phone arena. Nokia has brought with it to Windows Phone its award winning design. The Lumia 800 sports a lovely 3.7-inch curved ClearBlack AMOLED display with Gorilla Glass with a resolution of 800×400. Powered by a 1.4Ghz Qualcomm chip. In the Rear its got an 8 megapixel camera with dual-LED flash ( records at 720p @ 30fps). 16GB of internal storage , no microsd slot. Wifi b/g/n. It is also a quadband device with HSPA+ speeds of 14.4Mbps,; while using a micro sim. All this running Windows Phone 7.5 Mango.

I can not over emphasis the use of design here by Nokia. The Lumia 800 is a well built and styled device, with Design intricacies like a pop-up button to expose the micro USB slot and a slide out bay that releases the micro-sim slot. The devices has some good weight to it but it does feel heavy but balanced. On The OS side, yes it is running Windows Phone 7.5, but Nokia has added a few features like Nokia Drive which is a free turn by turn GPS Map system, as well a contact transfer app which helps your transfer your contacts more effectively. Also the Nokia Lumia 800 is the first windows phone camera I have used  that support side screen shots. which is a big plus and we will have some details shots and video with its 8 Megapixel F2.2 Wide angle lens for you guys later. The Col. has blessed use with another video of him doing an unboxing of the Motorola Droid Razr, the thinnest smartphone on the planet. As you can image The Col was enthusiastic about doing this unboxing for use; to the point of firing some shots at the phone which luckily was protected by its Kevlar back cover. The Droid Razr sport a 4.3 inch Super AMOLED qHD display that is coated with Gorilla glass. Powered by a dual-core processor and running Android 2.3.5 with 1GB of ram for some smooth operations. The LG Nitro HD is LG first 4G LTE device for ATT and it and also the company’s first device to sport a 4.5-inch with a “true” HD 1280 x 720 IPS display, powered by a dual-core 1.5GHz Qualcomm APQ8060 processor, its got a total of 20GB of storage and houses a 1.3 megapixel front facing camera and an 8 megapixel rear camera with LED flash that records at 1080p. The content of the box for the LG Nitro HD are scares, you  have got your device, micro-USB cable travel charger and quick start guide and that;s it.  The Nitro HD will be available on Dec 4th on AT&T for $249,99

The Samsung Focus S which is a top tier Windows Phone 7.5 device on the AT&T Network. Powered by a 1.4Ghz CPU ( Single core), Its also got a Super AMOLED Plus display made famous by the Samsung Galaxy S2. In front its sports a 1.3 Megapixel front facing camera with a rear camera of 8 megapixel that records at 720p. It comes with 16GB of internal storage  running Windows 7.5 mango with its lovely Metro UI. The Samsung Focus S has got a lovely finish and you can tell Samsung used its design expertise from the Galaxy S line into the Focus S. It’s a thin device with its thinnest point at 8.5mm with a smooth sleek finish.The Focus S has a very thin matted back cover that ensures better grip if the device; weight wise it is a very light device  and even feels lighter than the vaunted Samsung Galaxy S2. So far as expected with Windows Phone 7.5 the performances is very smooth and sleek. We are going to spend sometime with the Galaxy Nexus S and should have the review up for you in a couple of days.

The Nook Tablet is here and ready to compete in the every growing tablet market. Priced at $250,  Barnes & Nobles aims to create a low cost tablet that rivals its main competitor the Kindle fire. The Nook Tablet has got a 7-inch VividView IPS color touchpanel with a 1024 x 600 screen resolution(169 PPI), a 1.2GHz dual-core OMAP4 processor, 1GB of RAM, dimensions of 8.1- x 5- x 0.48-inches ( that’s 14.1 ounces), 16GB of inbuilt storage, a microSD expansion slot, battery life is up to 11 hours. Wifi 802.11b/g/n.

Hardware wise the Nook Tablet looks like the Nook , keep its traditional styling. It weighs 14.1 pounds. The menus system of the Nook tablet is similar to what you have with the regular nook.. But as for file format it  supports these file formats: CBZ, XLS, DOC, PPT, TXT, DOCM, XLSM, PPTM, PPSX, PPSM, DOCX, XLX, PPTX: videos in MP4, or Adobe Flash Player format, 3GP, 3G2 MKV, WEBM, H.264, MPEG-4, H.263,VP8: audio MP3, MP4, AAC, AMR, WAV, OGG.
