Prologue description Spoiler!!!

The prologue involves Bane on a plane. In particular, there’s a trio of masked hostages that some apparent terrorists are trading to the CIA for cash. The CIA guys start interrogating the three captives, trying to pressure them into giving up Bane’s location, and it’s clear that Bane is a big fish to these guys. And then — surprise! — one of the hostages turns out to be Bane himself, who’s almost impossible to understand due to his Darth Vader-y breathing apparatus and weird accent. The CIA guy asks Bane if it was his plan to get caught — and Bane responds that it was his plan to crash this plane. Which he does, using a bigger plane that swoops down with metal cables and a squad of commandos.

The prologue ends with a few glimpses of other scenes, like the “Batwing chasing the Batmobile” scene that we’ve all seen set photos from. And a bit of Batman punching Bane in front of a riot. And Anne Hathaway as Catwoman. And finally, a startling glimpse of Bane holding Batman’s shredded, ruined cowl in his fist

Warner Bro has started to build the Hype for the most Anticipated sequel for next summer “The Dark Knight Rise”. This poster Show Bane standing strong in the background in the rain with a half broken mask of the Dark Knight himself on the floor. A very chilling and well made poster entitled  “ The Legend Ends”. I can’t wait and if you are like me be sure to check out the Prologue which will be airing a full 6 mins in front of Mission Impossible Ghost Protocol.

The film will star Christian Bale, Tom Hardy, Anne Hathaway, Gary Oldman, Michael Caine, Morgan Freeman, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Marion Cotillard, Juno Temple, Josh Pense and Nestor Carbonell.

“The Dark Knight Rises” will be released next year on July 20th.

Here is the first look at the Lizard from the upcoming Amazing Spiderman movies. For those of you who are unfamiliar with The Lizard and his alter ego Dr Connors (portrayed by Rhys Ifans in the new film), read this from Marvel’s site:

“Curt Connors was a gifted surgeon who went into a war to help his country. He performed ‘meatball’ surgery on wounded GIs, but his arm was injured in a blast and had to be amputated. He eventually became obsessed with uncovering the secrets of reptilian regeneration, and studied reptilian biology extensively. From his home in the Everglades, he finally determined a serum taken from the DNA of a reptile. He had successfully regrown the missing limb of a rabbit, and, despite the warnings of his wife, chose to test it on himself. Connors ingested it, and his arm did indeed grow back. Unfortunately, it had one side effect: Connors was subsequently transformed into a reptilian monster!”

“The Amazing Spider-Man” opens July 12, 2012 in 3D (shock!) and 2D. It stars Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker/Spiderman, Emma Stone as Gwen Stacey and Ifans as Dr Connors/The Lizard.

There have been lots of Photos from the man of steel set over the past few week. Now we have some hot spoilers on the script and the Final fight scene with General Zod and Superman.  Looks like this  is going to  a very interesting movie and it looks like a lot of action. So read at your own risk and scroll to the bottom for the spoiler

Movie Synopsis

 In the pantheon of superheroes, Superman is the most recognized and revered character of all time. Clark Kent/Kal-El (Cavill) is a young twentysomething journalist who feels alienated by powers beyond anyone’s imagination. Transported to Earth years ago from Krypton, an advanced alien planet, Clark struggles with the ultimate question – Why am I here? Shaped by the values of his adoptive parents Martha (Lane) and Jonathan Kent (Costner), Clark soon discovers that having super abilities means making very difficult decisions. But when the world needs stability the most, it comes under attack. Will his abilities be used to maintain peace or ultimately used to divide and conquer? Clark must become the hero known as “Superman,” not only to shine as the world’s last beacon of hope but to protect the ones he loves.

Here are the details:

• The showdown between Superman, Zod and Faora is the climax of the film.

• This occurs just after Zod discovers Superman’s secret identity as Clark Kent, which results in Zod attacking the Kent Farm.

• The result of the attack leaves Superman “pissed off,” battling it out in downtown Smallville vs. Zod and Faora — who have left the US Armed Forces in ruins.

• Christopher Meloni’s character is also a “Superman hater” and skeptical of the super-hero.

Of course I can’t confirm any of this, but set images that came out of the Plano, Illinois Smallville shooting for the Man of Steel do seem to corroborate the info.

Previous Smallville-related images have revealed a strong military presence, aSuperman and Faora confrontation, Zod (note: in Smallville) and many battle damaged buildings.

In addition, Meloni was spotted on set who plays Colonel Hardy, and the “Superman hater” bit fits in with first draft plans to have General Lane play that part.

For all those who have complained that Henry Cavill is too small not built or whatever. Here are some pics to show you  that boy is built and fit for the room as the “Man of Steel”.Little is known about the scene, though Cavill’s beard and the clothes he’s holding what looks like the rest of his clothes . Judging from his tattered pants, it’s likely that Superman survived something that his clothes did not,  which also brings into question what is on his neck an is that of extraterrestrial origin. Ladies look and enjoy. we have some more pics below.

Cavill joins Amy Adams, Russell Crowe, Diane Lane, Kevin Costner, Michael Shannon, Antje Traue, Ayelet Zurer, Christopher Meloni, Harry Lennix and Laurence Fishburne for the film, scheduled to hit theaters on June 14, 2013.

As a long time Superman fan I must confess i I have never watched the Ruby-Spears Superman series that aired on CBS in the late 80’s. So I am glad to see they are available on DVD. mp4podcastDOTcom from YouTube has a good review on the Ruby-Spears Superman DVD, and also gives you some very good insight in to the cartoon and voice actors involved.

Television that aired on CBS featuring the DC Comics superhero of the same name (coinciding with the character’s 50th anniversary, along with the live-action Superboy TV series that year). Warner Bros is on a Hype role after yesterday’s release of first looks at Henry Cavill As Superman in ‘The Man of Steel”. The studio today has given us the first look of Anne Hathaway as Catwoman/Selina Kyle

Leading an all-star international cast, Oscar® winner Christian Bale (“The Fighter”) again plays the dual role of Bruce Wayne/Batman.
The film also stars Tom Hardy, as Bane; Oscar® winner Marion Cotillard (“La Vie en Rose”), as Miranda Tate; and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, as John Blake.

The first image of Henry Cavill as Superman in Zack Snyder’s “Man of Steel” has been released by Warner Bro. I have got to tell you I have got goose bumps. A well stylized picture giving you a good idea of what the film will look like and how Henry cavill looks like superman. Yes it looks good!!!!!

Squaring off against the superhero are two other surviving Kryptonians, the villainous General Zod, played by Oscar® nominee Michael Shannon (Revolutionary Road), and Faora, Zod’s evil partner, played by Antje Traue. Also from Superman’s native Krypton are Lara Lor-Van, Superman’s mother, played by Julia Ormond, and Superman’s father, Jor-El, portrayed by Academy Award® winner Russell Crowe (Gladiator).

Rounding out the cast are Harry Lennix as U.S. military man General Swanwick, as well as Christopher Meloni as Colonel Hardy.

Man of Steel is being produced by Charles Roven, Emma Thomas, Christopher Nolan and Deborah Snyder. The screenplay was written by David S. Goyer, from a story by Goyer and Nolan, based upon Superman characters created by Jerry Siegel & Joe Shuster and published by DC Comics. Thomas Tull and Lloyd Phillips are serving as executive producers.

Michael Shannon who plays the obsessive IRS agent in Boardwalk Empire is the new General Zod in Zack Synder’s Superman Man of Steel movie. An interesting casting Choice, but a good one in my view

Snyder stated, “Zod is not only one of Superman’s most formidable enemies, but one of the most significant because he has insights into Superman that others don’t. Michael is a powerful actor who can project both the intelligence and the malice of the character, making him perfect for the role.”

As General Zod, Shannon will go toe-to-toe with Henry Cavill, who plays the new Clark Kent/Superman in the film. The main cast also includes Amy Adams as Lois Lane, and Diane Lane and Kevin Costner as Martha and Jonathan Kent.

Arnold Schwarzenegger and Stan Lee last week announced that "The Governator" will become an animated series and a comic book, which was followed by today’s announcement that the property is also being eyed for a 3D feature film and will have internet programming as well.
Now, we’ve received the first trailer for the animated series, which is expect to premiere in late 2012.

Henry cavill of the Tudor fame is the new Superman in the Zack Snyder movie. Those of you out there who maybe unsure of this selection, should know he was in the running for the role a few years back in the failed Superman returns. If you are a fan of the Tudors or no, I say any doubters out there should watch the show to see Henry’s acting chops in display, which makes he suitable for the role

Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures announced today that Henry Cavill has won the coveted role of Superman, the iconic superhero.

The film will be directed by Zack Snyder, who stated, “In the pantheon of superheroes, Superman is the most recognized and revered character of all time, and I am honored to be a part of his return to the big screen.  I also join Warner Bros., Legendary and the producers in saying how excited we are about the casting of Henry.  He is the perfect choice to don the cape and S shield.”

Charles Roven, Emma Thomas, Christopher Nolan and Deborah Snyder are the producers of the film.  The screenplay is being written by David S. Goyer based on a story by Goyer and Nolan.  Thomas Tull and Lloyd Phillips are serving as executive producers.

Cavill recently wrapped production on “The Cold Light of Day” and stars in the upcoming “Immortals,” opening this fall.

So its seem the New X-men movie “First Class” is in trouble, the movie comes out in 3 months and there are reports that The are reshoots going on. About 6 weeks worth…..

Apparently, Matthew Vaughn got put on blast this morning for straight up LYING to Slashfilm about that so called leaked FOX picture. Check that out HERE on Superhero Hype.

But check this out…

You know what I’m hearing?

The movie is still shooting in LA while Vaughn is somewhere else editing.

They’re shooting at the Culver City Studios for the next couple of weeks. The official story is that they’re just shooting pick ups but the reality is…

…that hot mess of a film has not been coming together. Vaughn and company ran from location to location but never got the right stuff, or stuff that worked.

That’s what’s happening right now – while he’s cutting the film somebody else is shooting literally six weeks – almost a whole film – worth of stuff.

Ouch!

Again, expect massive denials saying that they’re doing pick ups that they missed because of delays on set and cast availability.

As this morning proved, fool me once, shame on you.  Fool me twice, shame on me.
