Today marked the passing of a great vocalist and a lovely lady, Etta James passed away after a long battle with cancer. “This is a tremendous loss for the family, her friends and fans around the world,” said longtime manager Lupe De Leon, who confirmed the news to CNN. “She was a true original who could sing it all – her music defied category. I worked with Etta for over 30 years. She was my friend and I will miss her always.”
Born Jamesetta Hawkins, the Los Angeles native began singing in her church choir at age five. By the time she was 14, she was singing lead in the doo-wop group Peaches, and recorded her first #1 rhythm and blues hit, “The Wallflower (Dance with Me Henry).” The song’s huge success attracted the attention of soul singer Little Richard, who invited James to go on tour with him in 1956. Shortly after, James launched what would be a life-long and legendary solo career.She was best known for 1961 hit song, “At Last,” which earned her a spot in the Grammy Hall of Fame in 1999. So lets celebrate her life and music and enjoy what she gave to the world. Rest In Peace

We knew it was going to come at some point, but the romance is over, between Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher.  Demi Moore stated today after 6 years of marriage she is filing for divorce, it looks like cheating maybe involved(go figure, its Hollywood).

Demi says, “as a woman, a mother and a wife, there are certain values and vows that I hold sacred, and it is in this spirit that I have chosen to move forward with my life.”

Ashton just tweeted, “I will forever cherish the time I spent with Demi. Marriage is one of the most difficult things in the world and unfortunately sometimes they fail”

Oct 30, 2011. Henry Cavill talks to Emmy nominated entertainment reporter Chris Van Vliet from CBS-19 in Cleveland about putting on his Superman: Man of Steel costume for the first time. He calls it “one of the best moments of his life”.

The first time I had it all on with the cape, I deliberately didn’t look in the mirror as it was going on because I wanted to have that sorta turnaround moment. Probably one of the best moments of my life to turn around and realize [small pause] that I’m Superman.

Kim Kardashian has filed for divorce from her husband of 72 days, professional basketball player Kris Humphries, according to court documents from L.A. Superior Court.

“Keeping Up with the Kardashians” producer Ryan Seacrest tweeted Monday, “Yes @kimkardashian is filing for divorce this morning. I touched base with her, getting a statement in just a few mins.”

And yes, you read that tally correctly. The marriage that was so highly celebrated and promoted by the E! network – which devoted not one, but two episodes of “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” to the fairy tale nuptials – appears to now be no more.

This looks like an interesting film slated for the Valentine season. Staring Chris pine and Tom hardy as to CIA agents who fall for the same girl (Reese Witherspoon) and basically battle it out to see who is better to win her over. Directed by McG of the Charlie’s Angle fame. This looks to be an interesting take on romantic action movies. The movie will hit theaters on February 17th 2012

For all those who have complained that Henry Cavill is too small not built or whatever. Judging from his tattered pants, it’s likely that Superman survived something that his clothes did not,  which also brings into question what is on his neck an is that of extraterrestrial origin. Andy passed away on September 11th, 2011. It was an honor to have had the opportunity to work with him – he was and continues to be the most fun actor we’ve ever had on set. He launched into every take with more zeal and intensity than anyone I’ve ever seen, and was a complete blast to work with. RIP, Andy.

This pic confirms he and his comrade, Faora (Antje Traue) will be decked out in full black gear. Reminiscent of General Zod’s outfit in Superman II . About a week ago Michael Shannon confirmed through MTV that he would be wearing some sort of motion cap gear

It has a variety of different colors and shapes on it and it makes you feel like you’re the court jester. Well well, seem good old Ashton has a twin brother. Sorry ladies they are fraternal twins, so they don’t look the same. But Ashton has been a good responsible brother all this while. Quietly taking care of his brother who suffers from cerebral palsy.

Ashton’s fraternal twin, Michael, currently lives in their home-state Iowa raising his 7-year-old son and selling retirement plans. Diagnosed with cerebral palsy from a young age, Michael’s life has been a bit more difficult than his brother’s.
“I was the kid with the big Coke-bottle glasses, the hearing aid,” Michael Kutcher told Details magazine in 2008. “There was a lot of teasing, a lot of the normal mean stuff.”
Although known for pulling elaborate, embarrassing practical jokes on celebrities, Ashton protected his twin against the bullying of other kids. Michael said he was a model brother in many ways, including seeing Michael through a heart transplant at age 13. Having suffered for some time from a heart muscle disease, one day, Michael’s heart stopped.
“Ashton never left my side,” Michael told People of his brother’s devotion through the procedure. “He showed me the love one brother has for another.”
One successful heart surgery and twenty years later, Michael isn’t looking to replicate Ashton’s fame. He has, however, tiptoed into the spotlight as a lobbyist for Reaching for the Stars, an organization that works on behalf of children with cerebral palsy.
“Being Ashton Kutcher’s brother, it gives me the opportunity to be that voice, and I realize that I needed to use the opportunity to help others,” he explained during his first trip to Washington, D.C. last year.


This is truly sad news, Andy Whitfield know for his awesome portrial of Spartacus in the Hit Stars TV show Spartacus: Blood & Sand has passed away at the age of 39. Andy had been battling lymphoma (cancer), which is why hi was replaced as Spartacus in the hit TV show. We truly have lost a great talent at a young age. Our condolences to his Wife and family. Rest in Peace

The actor’s wife Vashti said in a statement that the “beautiful young warrior” died on a “sunny Sydney morning” in the “arms of his loving wife,” the Associated Press reports.
Born in Wales and a resident of Australia, Whitfield was preparing for a second season in September 2010 when he announced that he would not be returning to the Starz series so he could undergo aggressive cancer treatment. He was replaced by actor Liam McIntyre.
In Whitfield’s statement, he said, “It seems that it is time for myself and my family to embark on another extraordinary journey.”
