STEELSERIES INTRODUCES THE ILLUMINATED, SIBERIA V2 FROST BLUE HEADSET
Award-Winning Siberia v2 Design with Customizable, Super-Bright Blue LED Lighting with Advanced Customizable Settings

LAS VEGAS, CES – Jan. 10, 2012 – Kicking off CES, SteelSeries the leading manufacturer of premium-quality, competitive gaming peripherals, today introduced the Siberia v2 Frost Blue Headset. The super-bright, blue LED lights glow through the outer mesh grill on each earcup, the Siberia v2 Frost Blue’s lights and soundscape can be customized through SteelSeries Engine software. It has an incredibly lightweight, over-the-head suspension design with an active noise-cancelling microphone and circumaural earcups that feature 50mm driver units, covered by grey leather cushions for a noise-dampening sound.

“The Siberia v2 Frost Blue combine’s incredible sound with a style that is not only recognized, but is an original design that’s been optimized and improved,” said Jacob Wolff-Petersen, SteelSeries Founder. “This headset packs a loud and crisp soundscape with the expected luxury for the user to be able to adjust everything – from illumination options, equalizer settings to creating and assigning profiles for multiple game titles and players, all through the SteelSeries Engine software.”

The headset illumination offers 6 different modes and can be assigned to behavior and game specific profiles through the SteelSeries Engine, including: Active Mode (responsive pulsing to sound effects, music, and/or voice), Slow Pulse, Fast Pulse, High Bright, Low Bright and Off. The Siberia v2 Frost Blue will also features an active noise cancelling, “smart” microphone system that retracts when not in use. The microphones processor reduces the “noise” and focuses on the sound that is closer to the mic, your voice. Its in-line volume and mute controls are found on a durable, double-braided nylon cord with a USB connector.

LAS VEGAS, CES – Jan. 10, 2012 – SteelSeries, the leading manufacturer of premium-quality, competitive gaming peripherals, today at the start of the 2012 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, introduced a new line-up of gaming peripherals.
“With the Designed by Gamers campaign, it was the first time we asked our fans and followers to choose a design for us, and we were incredibly proud to see the response from the community – it makes sense that consumers, specifically our consumers want to have a say in what we‟re creating, said Kim Rom, SteelSeries CMO. “This new line-up of mice were each designed to fulfill the needs of different types of players, especially those who may not need all of the customization that can be found in the SteelSeries Sensei.”
From the light blue tangle free cord to the trumpet key styling of the headphone remote control. Show the level of design Monster put into the headphones. Monster’s exclusive technology places the driver directly in your eartip, with the earbuds resemble trumpet mouthpieces. The Miles Davis trumpets are design to be elegant and effective. So how good do the sound?

This is where it truly shines, monster has crafted a little piece of music in these headphone, the sound quality is pristine and clear. It really feel like a soulful melody is played within your ear lobes. You can hear each instrument and I found myself hear different tones and sounds I had never heard before. also lyric and vocals coming in very clear and acoustically feel like you are getting a live performances. On thing to note is that the Trumpet is not a bass heavy headphone, which is good. It allows for the instrument to pop and music sound like you are in a live Jazz festival jamming away. The Next question; is it worth $300?

Yes, if you love music, and you want to listen to the pure sound of a musician in his craft, then yes. These headphones are not crafted to give you super bass. But instead where designed to give you pure sound, and it does that well in everyway. I am truly impressed by what Monster has created here with the Miles Davis Trumpet Headphones

Also the notification bar allows for quick access to easy settings on the device, which provides the user with setting controls for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, Alarm, App management, tethering and sound control. A lot of the additives to the OS have been well though out and well placed. The Pantech Burst is also a 4G LTE device on the AT&T network and bow doe sit provide some eye-popping speeds in our tests, we got Maximum download speeds of 40Mbps and upload speeds of 20Mbps, which is fantastic and does help accentuate the values of this budget Android device.

The Pantech Burst is great for its price point, providing values as well as a solid user experience with the thrills of AT&T’s 4G LTE. The phone is now available for just $49.99 with a new two-year AT&T contract; plus AT&T has a sweet bundle deal that’s available for the Pantech Burst & Pantech Element tablet . Rather than paying $50 for the Burst and another $300 for the Element, if you purchase them simultaneously, you can grab the two for a deal at $249.99 on-contract — a savings of $100.

The Droid Razr Maxx is the latest extension in the Droid Razr family by Motorola, what makes the Droid Razr Maxx different is the addition of a 3330mAh battery that only bumps the thickness of the device to 8.99mm. Which is truly astounding feat. Spec wise the Droid Razr Maxx is similar to is older brother the Droid Razr sport a 4.3 inch Super AMOLED qHD display that is coated with Gorilla glass. Powered by a dual-core processor and running Android 2.3.5 with 1GB of ram for some smooth operations all running by Android™ 2.3.5, Gingerbread

So we know the Droid Razr Maxx is pretty much a Droid Razr with a beefier battery. At 3330mAh Motorola Has stuffed an extended battery into a slim profile. So to see if the companies claims of 21hr talk time and 8 hrs of movie viewing was correct, we decided to carry out our own test.First we did a movie viewing test to see how long the battery will last with on a single charge watching 3 movies. Then we did a call time test. Actually we did two test, First was a call test with the LCD on and second was a Call test with the LCD off and here are the result.

Watching 3 Movies on the Droid Razr Maxx
Motorola Claim- 8 hrs
Actual- 6hrs 7mins

Call time test
Motorola claim- 21hrs
Actual with LCD off- 22hrs 10mins
Actual with LCD on- 9hrs 16mins

Conclusion

Motorola Set the bar pretty high with the original Droid Razr released last year with its ultra thin profile and sleekness, it also feature some innovative software additives like Motoro cast which allows you to stream content back and fort to your home server or PC from anywhere in the world via Verizon’ Wireless 4G LTE. The Droid Razr Maxx has all these and a little extra with its 3330mAh battery, which lives up to Motorola’s Battery claims; with 22hrs of talk time in our test and 6hrs of video watching. The Droid Razr maxx can be deemed the best and most reliable Android smartphone dare I say Smartphone on the market.

Specs

1GB RAM for a fast user interface and multi-tasking

The Droid XYBOARD is a very slim device, taking design cues from the Droid Razr, it is sleek and slim, with corner edges matching the Razr . there are no buttons on the front of the device, with the the power and Vol. toggle are at the back of the XYBOARD 8.2. The XYBOARD 8.2 is splash resistant, to protect from water damage, its has also got a soft rubberized coating around the edge of the device.

The Droid XYBOARD is a a reliable tablet and does a decent number on battery life at about 8hrs. Still there is a lot more Motorola could have done with this tablet to make it more than adequate

As is typical with Lelo, the Nea was very elegantly boxed, with a small plastic covering over the Nea to keep it in place. The very first thing I noticed was the purple flower print that starts on the very tip; when I flipped is, I found a larger, adorable purple flower that is very cute stretching across three quarters of the Nea – It is really cute and compact. I turned it over to find more patterns on the back, which makes it feel a little bit more personalized. Similar to a computer-mouse, the curved shape of the massager has a built-in rechargeable battery that is not only functional, but convenient, as you don’t have to keep on buying batteries for it.

Although I find that it is somewhat hard – as it is not cloaked with silicone like the Lyla – it packs an exceptional pulse with multiple settings in a petite, discreet package. Nea also has a feature that allows it to be lockable; therefore, you can travel with it without fear of it accidently activating, or lock it on a particular setting without worrying about hitting a button. With it being so small and made out of molded plastic, It is extremely easy to clean – but be careful, as it is not waterproof due to the recharge socket, and moisture can seep in if you do not take care.

As I said, it is a very compact and discreet personal massager, but with it being so small, the small buttons and settings do need some getting used to. Nea is known for its long battery life – up to 7 hours – which makes it exceptional for personal use or use with your partner. It has 5 different vibration settings, and with several different strengths of vibrations to choose from, you can find multiple settings that work best for you, or your significant other.

With all this being said, the Nea personal massager is absolutely outstanding for its compact size; its very powerful and you don’t even need to buy batteries for it. It not only look cute and pretty; it also delivers results from an adorable little package.

An 8 Megapixel camera in the rear and a 1.2 megapixel camera in the front for video chat. 1080p recording with the rear camera and a back illuminated CMOS sensor for taking photos in low light and better video recording. 32/64GB of inbuilt storage plus cloud storage in from Asus.

The Hardware of the Asus transformer primes is sleek, polish and well refined. The power button is located at the top of the device, with the volume toggles on the left of the device, the 10-inch Asus Transformer prime has a thick bezel and is very finger print happy. There is also a microSD slot, giving you the ability to expand your storage options beyond the capacity listed for the device. overall I think the hardware is solid, its light and easy to use, though it has a thick bezel and is not finger print friendly. It is still a well crafted device

The Asus Transformer Primes has an 8 megapixel camera with an LED flash, making it the highest megapixel camera found on a tablet to date. So we give the camera a test run to see how will it functions, In taking video and stills. It should be noted the camera has the ability to record in time-lapse as it is standard on all Android 4.0 devices, as we saw on the Galaxy Nexus . Enjoy this 1080p camera test.

Conclusion

The Asus Transformer Prime is a power machine, the fact Asus was able to cram in the Tegra 3(Kal-el) chip into such a thin profile and form factor is something to take note, the device runs like a dream, of course during our review we were running Android 4.0 on the tablet. Operations were smooth and efficient, the device is built for mobile gaming handling different games with ease. Battery life is impeccable, considering you have a quad-core processor in the Asus Transformer prime, I still got up to 1hrs of battery life. It also helps that the Asus UI overlay on Android 4.0 gives you options to toggle your CPU usage, as well as the brightness on the Super IPS display. Which might I add is fantastic outdoors. Overall the Asus Transformer Prime has set the Gold standard in 2012 for android based tablets, with power, efficiency and overall design. Lets see how the competition responds

· The Galaxy Note combines the best features of a smartphone with the larger viewing screen of a tablet and advanced technology in the S Pen™ — delivering an all-in-one device that allows users to work more efficiently and maintain productivity, while communicating in a unique, personal way.
