IMAG0602
It’s a good time to be a T- customer, the network has bumped its HSPA+ speeds to 42 Mbps and its growing. As a T- customer you have a selection from the two hottest and latest smartphone available  on the carrier, I am talking about the and the Samsung Galaxy S2. But devices are premier smartphones on any network around the world. We are going to take a good look at both devices; at their similarities and differences to seem if the Amaze 4G with is wide-angle f 2.3 8 Mega pixel camera can best the Samsung galaxy S2 with its ultra thin profile and Super AMOLED plus display.

The  HTC Amaze 4G is the second high-end Android Smartphone to be release on the T-Mobile network in the space of a couple of weeks, and it is  exclusive to T-Mobile. The Amaze 4G is also capable of 42Mbps on T-Mobile 4G HSPA+ network, runs Android 2.3.4 and Sense UI 3.0 the Amaze 4G claims to have the best camera on any Smartphone on the market today  The Amaze 4Gphone comes with a 4.3 inch qHD display, 1.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon dual-core processor (Similar to the Samsung Galaxy S2 on T-Mobile), an 8 megapixel rear facing camera with dual LED flash with f 2.3 and 28mm wide-and lens that takes in more light for some remarkable pictures, besides having a camera button it also has  a dedicated video button, also has a 1.3 megapixel front facing camera for video chat.

T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S2

The T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S2 has arrived to take the crown, as the best smartphone in the T-Mobile stable. in all respects it is similar to its other us variants but at the heart of this device beats a dual –core 1.5Ghz Qualcomm processorand not Samsung’s 1.2Ghz dual-core Exynos Processor. An 8 megapixel camera with LED flash in the rear that records video at 1080p, a 2 megapixel camera in front for video chat via Qik video over its massive 4.52 inch Super AMOLED Plus Display.  Which provides you with a enough retail space to watch and stream movies from Samsung’s media hub. Using T-mobile’s expanded 42Mbps HSPA+ network (depending on location of course)The T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S2 is similarity design to it Sprint counter part the Epic 4G Touch with some subtle differences; the chrome trimming around the edges of the T-mobile Samsung Galaxy S2, and its full back cover piece. Also the T-mobile Version is light than the Epic 4G touch

Conclusion

This was a really tough battle to decided, what we have hear are two very  very solid smartphones and the honest truth is simply this. You can’t go wrong with either.  Both have a 1.5Ghz Qualcomm processor, both have super fast HSPA+ speeds, both have lovely displays with qHD for the HTC Amaze 4G and Super AMOLED Plus for the Samsung galaxy S2.   What it make come down to is a choice between Sense UI 3.0 overlay on the HTC Amaze 4G and TouchWiz 4.0 on the Samsung galaxy S2

That was probably the best review AND comparison of the two phones yet. I’m an avid Samsung fan but people ahve been telling me to give HTC a shot. I did so today and I was quite impressed with the Amaze (I’m never impressed with HTC in comparison to a Samsung) because of the 3D Sense UI OS 3.0 but mostly because of the different camera picture settings.
I think I was sold on Galaxy S II because picture quality isn’t bad (although it doesn’t have as many settings and there’s no side camera capture button like the Amaze has) but the audio on videos are much better. Light weight and battery life on the Galaxy S II is also very nice but the size is huge. Yes, it’s thinner, but it really stretches the hand (the look and feel on the ATT version of the GSII is probably the best)… The Amaze however is noticbly much heavier and much thicker, it looks as if it doesn’t belong in today’s “thinner is better” phone world. Screen wise, both are very responsive but I notice the GSII is brighter.
